It’s less a lack of teamwork and more how lame that mech is. They actually work very well together, but being in a cramped suit with a lack of certain control features would make anyone seem awkward.
I thought it was more “right tool for right person” type of deal. The hammer is good… If you have someone who matches the requirements. Knowledge about yourself is good… If you have someone unable to realize key parts of themselves or their own powers.
A giant mecha robot is good… If you do not deploy it in a small room with la small ceiling for you to move around in.
More than anything, even the “Lucky Boy” he has in the RPG, it’s that ingenious remarkable and ingenious quick thinking that’s Tyler’s real non-metahuman superpower.
I imagine he’s going to make her self realise that her power loss was a mental block, not physical removal. She does, in fact, still have matter manipulation abilities.
Zodon is a favourite of mine. He comes off as knowing the game and picking his side based on the pay off. And seeing how the heroes around here can be. His work with his parents was heartbreakingly selfless. I hate to cliche’ a meme. But wonder if he might be the ‘hero’ the world deserves?
Given the hammer explicitly judges “Swoleness”, and muscles, I’m guessing only the original Atlas would be worthy of the ones we knew. even other super-strongs like 84 aren’t particularly muscular about it.
I love the hammer “It’s not me. it’s you. And I mean that in the best sense.” Like “You’re a loser, but I mean that in the best sense.”
And Power and Glory don’t seem to be all that big on their own teamwork.

Oh, I think Tyler’s about to make one of those game changing statements… and we won’t find out what it is until next month!
Boy’s got a plan

Super-introspection.
She’s able to call out ALL her character flaws…
Would that make her worth of the hammer…eventually?
If she decides to act on that knowledge she could become the most perfect person that can possible exist.
It’s weird seeing Ron in his street clothes without his glasses.
You know, without them…he looks a lot like Captain Clarinet!
You know, your right, but Captain Clarinet went off on some spaceship so it cannot be him.
Oh wow, it’s the imminent return of States The Obvious Boy!
And a world like this NEEDS States The Obvious Boy, because NOBODY here EVER SEES THE OBVIOUS! (Well, except for The Revenant. He’s cool.)
…I do have to wonder if any of our heroes are “Worthy”…
If there is one, my bet’s on Tyler.
I’ll take zodon, he’s got to be coming back into the plot sooner or later.

He also cured Ron’s fear of flying and helped Julie to deal with her insecurities.
Depends entirely on what the hammer means by ‘worthy’. Given that it’s a *forge* hammer…
Perhaps one uses it to make the right weapon to take out a given enemy?
I’m voting for Zodon already being worthy.
Given the hammer explicitly judges “Swoleness”, and muscles, I’m guessing only the original Atlas would be worthy of the ones we knew. even other super-strongs like 84 aren’t particularly muscular about it.
