    The Prototype for the Scholl? Has somebody been playing around with Shrink Rays for Storage here?

      Nope. Nanites that build schools. That’s what is in the box, and now they’re stolen.

      Hershel’s company is known for its self-constructing buildings. That’s how so many major structures went up so fast in Wonderburg after the invasion.

      Also, I suspect one could argue that, rather than the prototype being stolen, it kidnapped a would-be thief. Perhaps it didn’t like being mothballed.

    Remember, the school was originally a space station. It could be the core of what Zodon built his station out of.
    …or maybe Herschel is just playing with Hammerspace.
