What IS that reference about? I’d thought it meant “look for someone who has obviously survived and healed from what is currently ailing you, to find advice”, but the next panel shows it is about something else.
It is. If I’m not mistaken, that’s why it’s a Doctor Who reference, and not a Zen meditations reference. I’m fuzzy on exactly which show to such a degree I don’t even remember which doctor unfortunately.

I know, right? “someone who has never been sick” is the opposite of the preceding advice, no matter how I look at it.
