Guys, I figured it out. Nodwick is/was the “Tyler” of his Heroic Age! That’s why he’s the central character of the story. He is the normal surrounded by super-powered “heroes.” He of course votes “no, they don’t get to keep their powers” due to all the abuse he’s taken from powers, magic, monsters, etc. over the years, and the fact he’s seen nothing good come of it.
You’d think after all this time he know that if the adventure ends without serious injury to him, he needs to start running for the horizon as fast as he can…

Sigh. And another issue winds to a close.
Poor Nodwick.
Hmm, wonder if there ever is going to be more books for ye old henchman. I like the new series but Nodwick has a special spot in our home. 🙂
it just wouldnt be a nodwick crossover without nodwick suffering fatal injuries at least once ^^;

He can’t. It’s in his contract
Huh. I wonder if “page 47” is an allusion to any particular D&D book.
In the AD&D Wizard’s Spell Compendium, Volume I, the spell that starts on page 47 is “Animate Dead Monster”. So, maybe.
