I think this page does a great job illustrating something about Agent Bain, namely he’s too arrogant, or stupid if there’s a difference, to listen to others after something goes wrong on their watch. Cristi Kyle is a teacher, and has obviously maintained her teaching license through her superhero career otherwise she would have had to get recertified (which in Alabama involves going back to school to take the classes again, from what I can tell.) She has more experience with kids bullying others and while she’s off about Charles, she is right that many kids will back down once they’ve seen that they will be caught and punished, maybe not all of the way, but enough to not be as disruptive as they were before. The way Mr. Bain is treating this, as if they’re dealing with a supervillain and not a schoolyard bully, is rather telling. I wonder if he’s secretly in league with a certain Headmaster.
Ugh,
what a Gyrich
