Lol, the cell phone vs the size of the digits. I wonder how often ghost dialing occurs. All things considered, it’s just as likely that the floating brain baby is the illusion and Zodon really looks nothing like a chubby kid in a striped shirt or a an alien in a floating egg.
Does Zodon actually have real hands? Those monstrous waldos can’t be useful for much fine work, yet he’s using them instead of his alleged real hands to work a tiny object. How does he change shirts, anyway? (For a long time I thought he was nude because the neckline didn’t show.)
One of the things I’ve wondered about, given his cranial development, is if he’s lost some of his motor skills. Which would fit, as he’s kind of a MODOK expy.
At last, Zodon’s team is begin to form! He’s got 84 and her apprentice, Atlas, Jr., and is summoning U.S.A. Patriot, but who else will Zodon recruit? And how can they possibly stop Victor von Fogg from destroying an entire Universe? Stay tuned, as “Cataclysm Across Alternate Universes” continues!
Universes will live! Walls will be destroyed! Pop culture references will be made! And Zodon will discover Forak’s greatest weakness! (Something Forak fears more than Argonite poisoning!) Plus: Giant robots! Super-hero balloons! And the floorlamp that aspires to be a hatrack!
I’m not sure how much of that is really going to happen. PS238’s that kind of story, isn’t it?
Curse your foreknowledge, leor613! Well, at least you know what precognition feels like!
Someone has to try and get these guys interested in buying the trade! Besides, given the recent schedule slip whenever Aaron goes to a Con, or there’s a blizzard or tornado, it may be years before we see the floor lamp that aspires to be a hat rack! The people have a right to know! 😀
Given the material up to this point I have to wonder how much this will clear up some of the contradictions regarding Zodon. His first appearance his parents are said to have sent him to PS238 yet from what we learn from his satellite ‘child’ he was apparently sent away by his parents and those the public think of his parents are just robots. So why is he even at PS238? If as this storyarc implies he’s from another dimension (or maybe that’s where they went after abandoning him) why would he have himself sent off to PS238 and subjected to the anti-profanity chip?
Your suggesting that those robots could fool Herschel. Chances are zodon was inrolled in ps238 by social services, after the (omitted) of his parents. I think “your folks” was just code for, “the robots we’re going to let society think are your parents.” I for one think Zodon is doing much better at ps238 than he would in foster home. Besides, Herschel has the (omitted) in his (omitted), so he must know something’s up. On the other hand, (omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted)(omitted).
Then again, I could be wrong.
I remember a villain on “Get Smart” who was called “The Claw,” unfortunately, Smart was unaware of the way Asians pronounce the “L” sound and so assumed the villain was named “The Craw.” Causing the villain to shout in anger; “Not ‘The Craw!’ ‘The CRAW!’ “
Zodon was enrolled in PS238 by his parents, but where are his parents now? We’ve never seen them, but a lot adults (including the Crystal Skull) and others (like Zodon Jr.) seem to suspect something bad happened to to them. Could Zodon have [Sorry sweetie, SPOILERS] between the time Zodon’s parents enrolled him and some superheroes subdued him and brought him to PS238 against his will? We’ll just have to wait and see!

Sounds like a plan.
chili-dog. . . .yummy
The funniest thing about this is that this webcomic feels the most “real” of all the comics I enjoy…… Good stuff keep up the good work!
“The appearance of adult supervision” – excellent line! Love it!

Since it only calls one number there will be no ghost calls
The flag pin plays Star Spangled Banner while dialing, obviously.
No, that is the ring-tone. It plays “America the Beautiful” while waiting for a call pickup.
Chili Burrito Burger with Cheese Fries? So one of his superpowers is never gaining weight? Must be nice.
I agree that this page is full of awesome. =)

His pod can do pretty much anything for him, even wash and dress him. It’s all hidden until someone gives a command, it doesn’t even need to be Zodon.
That must have been due to what ever amounts to a mother type figure. Code 328 “clean room”, Code 111 “force feed vegetables”… Other code ideas?
Code 911 “Emergency exit, stage left” – Nod to the old Snagglepus cartoons
right….i feel like I read one where somebody figured out how to turn it into a washing machine and kept saying the key word?
Code C134-N.

Those hands may look clumsy, but they probably move with tolerances measured in micrometers and micronewtons.

You do this every few pages. You should be in charge of Arron’s advertisement.

Ah, well, I kept telling you, floorlamp. You are just too bright for the hatrack gig. you brighten up the place just as you are.
Oh Yeah, the other stuff about the story sounds interesting too.
Who else? Well at some point Moon Shadow will join them I’m sure, to Zodon’s disgust.
He’s in space right now…
I swear, your delivery almost came off like Douglas Adams!

That’s almost as good as the ‘nale not nale’ speech from OOTS. for bewildering me. And I’ve read everything at least seven times.
