Yeah, it’s something I realized and really liked about the strip a few times back. When he realizes something’s about to go bad, he doesn’t roll his eyes or sigh or anything, he just leaves and immediately comes back suited up and determined.
It’s a nice moment and really shows off his character development. It takes a lot to be set up as THE rising hero in a school full of heroes, but Tyler’s starting to get there.
Moon Shadow seems to finally be accepting his role as the child hero of the child heroes.

I don’t know if it’s acceptance so much as it being too much trouble to explain the reality, yet again.
I like the new look of his ‘armor’. Is he going to get to keep it once they return to the ‘real’ world?
So teacher lady really is as old as children may imply lol
I really like his armour as well. I’m guessing that Revenant’s tools (grappler, magnetic zap etc) won’t work as well though…
…although they *were* provided by the Revenant, so who knows?
He found Mrs. Imperia!
Man Moonshadow’s awesome!
Like Batman said “Even heros need heros”
So Tyler (and us) have met the Spell Syrin as a child. I hope he doesn’t introduce any time paradox…
So did Toby inadvertedly grant his brother’s costume a cool fantasy mode?
You know if his gadgets work normally that might be misconstrued as magic in itself!
… nope …
ACK! Miss Imperia is a child again! Somebody get that time travel kid QUICK!
Keeeep reading… :p
Yeah. Those of us who bought the singles and the trades tend to forget how awesome it is to discover the storyline as it develops.
