I guess sometimes even a hero needs to be hit over the head with the Clue Hammer of Power!

Wow, only six characters on the page, but two of them are complete mysteries.

This comic could really use a Spotter’s Guide somedays.

And thus the Moon Shadow effect minus the secret identity. As for 1st super team look at the Vegas job with 84, flea, Zodon, and the stretchy girl (name eludes me at the moment).

Then of course is the group to investigate the ship that lead to the space adventure where she and Moon shadow took a trip to the stars. Last but not least… the 84 site. Of course the other school may have set up a super team in her name without her knowing of course. Still it should be fun to see it explained to her just like how the importance of Moon Shadow was explained.

I believe her name is Polly-mer.

Polymer, actually. Real name Polly Mekkis.

It may be significant that 84, Zodon, the Flea and Polymer not only solved a crime and caught a super villain in Las Vegas, they got paid for doing so as well. I wonder if the tax laws in their universe have a special provision for super teams? Perhaps they can write off business expenses? I wouldn’t put it past Zodon to have registered their team for the tax loopholes.

I wonder if there is a special provision for earnings by minors.

It’s the first few issues in Volume 6, but it really starts here: http://ps238.nodwick.com/?p=836

Even before Vegas, in #19, she was in the ad hoc “Playground Avengers” with Moon Shadow, Captain Clarinet, The Flea, Emerald Gauntlet and Eagle.

She didn’t start the playground avengers; Moon Shadow did. She was only a late addition to that team.

Moon Shadow didn’t start the Playground Avengers, they kinda formed themselves around him. Fact is, I think he’s still trying to figure out how that happened. ^_~

I’m pretty sure she’s referring to the other Numbers. 84 didn’t start any of the others, and everyone thinks she started her website.

Miss Kyle (the teacher) found out about the website from 84 in the last chapter. 84 told her she hadn’t started the website and was surprised by the way the FISS’s were reacting to her choice of hero name.

      Fiss only team?

An FISS-only team would be a awful idea… The first bad guy with a chuck of Argonite would take out the whole crew. You need a group with varied abilities so they can protect each other from things like argonite, bug spray, plastic solvent, Zodon’s temper….

This whole time I thought Miss Kyle was a brunette. Huh. Guess she just reminded me of one of my teachers.

Yeah, I feel disillusioned too. I thought her dress was pink.

84’s choice of costume color scheme makes a lot more sense now, though!

Wow, the two-tone highlights in Ms. Kyle’s hair, combined with the huge whites in the center of her eyes, are giving me a major Peter Max flashback.

(Yes, I’m old. Deal with it.)

I’d have to say that the eyes are a bit off-putting now. I think it’s because before they had a solid line for the outline only above the eyeball and now with the color, the outline goes completely around the eyeball.

The slight changes to the drawing style since the end of the print editions makes Ms. Kyle look SO dofferent to me. Not bad, it’s just slightly unsettling. Like seeing someone with glasses wearing contacts the first time and knowing who they are but not truly recognizing them.
