Ok this one cracked me up. I love how both Atlas and Dax-Ra look surprised. Totally did not expect the “Hah bet you weren’t prepared for THIS” to backfire when he produced the Kockemout.
Remotes are replaceable, and he’s been putting them on the government expense account, so there’s not a lot of incentive to remember to be careful with them. Most people are slightly hypnotized by the electronic pulses of the TV anyway, so he’s not actually thinking at the time.
Grenade doesn’t really make sense. Now if it was a spray can then this action makes sense. Spray villain is the goal and cracking the can is the outcome. When I imagine most nocturnal-flying-mammal-mans gadgets on his utility suspenders I think they would be multi purpose. Like gas mask scuba combo, or in this case a bunch of spray cans that can do multiple things. Spray nock out gas, which is flammable so doubles as a flame thrower, can twist head left for knock out or right for sparked flame grenade effects… Oh and an adapter lets you pump up tires in a pinch with it. Another might be a fire fighting foam that when the head is twisted gets mixed in the nozzle with a reactant from a sub tank that makes an immobilization foam… When money is no object then room on the belt is the most precious commodity…
Without Atlas, they are merely rebels trespassing on sacred ground. With the unconscious body of the king and grand vizier(?) to lug around. Dangerous, dangerous, dangerous.
Hopefully Ron really does have his super-strength back, because if he does, assuming that Atlas weighs no more than the average muscular bloke, they’ll be fine, just carry Atlas away. If it was a bluff to keep him safe (which I suspect is true), the situation may be much more inconvenient. Two children and an fairly elderly woman? Probably have to leave him behind and inevitably go back to find him. Here we go again!
Hah!
Atlas hands are the electronics nemesis.
Double Knock out. Smoothe.
“Complicates things”?? Why, were the rebels planning on using the gas against the Royal House, and wanted it kept secret until then?

Hopefully moonshadow has some wakeemup =)
Of all the things he could break with his strength, living in a world of cardboard, he breaks remotes most often?

And let’s not forget the shark-repellant spray.
