Why am I not surprised old Revs (like “Bats”) is familiar with alien security cameras. Or. Was it the engineer. This seems odd like a whispered aside. It also like its fully disclosed. I guess the next panel might clear it up.
Is their tech like star gates ancients and a small number of plug and at crystals can be shifted around to hack things in crazy ways?
I think its actually just Moon shadow being nervous: He mumbles a bit, and over explains wat he did, Atlas cuts him of to stop him from rambling.
Tyler never was the kind of person to bask in the spotlight, so explaining just how you just toppled a super-powered royal is not something he’ll just do unflinching.
No one has anything to say about “Near Mint”? You were all abuzz trying to guess what the “N” and “M” stood for, but now you’re all “ooh we’re back on Argos now!” None of you seem to have noticed there’s a page before this. >:(
Knowing a detail of a story is often not nearly as much fun as speculating about it with others ahead of time, so this may just be another one of those things. 🙂
@Leor613: I guessed “Near Mint”, but my comment is “awaiting moderation”… Well, this comment to, so I don’t know if you’re going to ever read any of my words…
But he wants to make it look like an “accident” – it has to be quick and impersonal. I don’t think an Dax beating a child to death will be very good for his political career, and sending people round to do it for him will also be a little suspicious – who hired them? He has to fake an accident to get away with killing a prince. (I’m assuming that’s the title, although it may not be. Whatever, you get my point.)
And who said anything about the palace records? MoonShadow probably has multiple recording devices that are specially hardened against tamperingor blocking. From mono audio only to full video with Tri-Dee or Quadraphonic sound. In fact with all of the gadgets in his helmet, from his photonic stun, FLIR and ear protection, you can’t tell me the Rev DIDN’T put in the hardware to record EVERYTHING Tyler sees or hears in most spectrum’s.

I don’t think it’s an aside, I think it’s turning to Moon Shadow to confirm “that’s been handled” for the “oh #$%^ my plans will be known” response.
So – Ron’s powers came back, or are they running a bluff? Because it would be funnier, I’m guessing bluff.
Oh crap, not ‘reverse the polarity’!
So, has Mo-Ron recovered his powers, or was the bit with the spear staged?
In the right light, what appears to be a strong steel rod is actually a thin aluminum shaft wrapped in painted paper for volume and texture.
It’s a crystal staff weapon, not a spear. It is also made of Argosian metal, which is as strong as deutronium alloy…
Oh dear. I think somebody has just been badly outplayed. 🙂
It seems like it’s time for the all-purpose backup plan–DOOMSDAY DEVICE!
Wait, you WANT a Death of Atlas storyline? Let’s leave Doomsday out of this, please. 😛

We noticed – ocd collectors are cool, but half the buzz was the mystery. We got the answer, so we lost some interest.

Perhaps the artificial brain intentionally fooled Dax-ra?
Perhaps it is secretly on the side of the rebels. Or in contact with the Singularity?
Perhaps the artificial brain was originally programmed by the Revenant?
Or perhaps it’s just not as smart as it thinks it is, a la Brainiac.
Perhaps we need to wait for the rest of the dominos to fall into place.
Or perhaps the Artificial Brain secretly IS the singularity and the Argosians just haven’t figured it out yet.

Wouldn’t ‘adult agent with powers’ versus ‘young boy with powers’ be kinda dangerous for the boy too?
Not if it’s unstoppable force v. immoveable object.

fake spear was fake
I just hope Dax-Ra is at worst your Dev-Em, and his mom’s name isn’t Jad-Zia…
Still haven’t seen “Man of Steel” (and wanna); money is at an alltime crunch. I’m just sayin’.
No offence Forak, but your planet is kind of messed up.

Yes, but who here besides Ul-Ron will believe Moonshadow’s recordings?
