Actually those are the next generation of USB cables, capable of transferring 64 gigaquads of data per second. Oh you don’t use 4-state data points? You only use 2-state data points (most of us known them as bits)? Well, the cable will downgrade to transferring 32 megabits per second.
Given what he’s carrying in the first panel, I hope he isn’t planning to remove their brains to better attach the cables (yeah, I know, he’d put them back, but still…).
Notice how he refers to the arriving people as Data instead of people.
Also notice what’s written on the techno bracer the evil girl is wearing…. If that’s her victory face I’d hate to see her I’m going to kill you face…. Oh wait that’s the one that looks totally serene we saw a while back while she plots.
He doesn’t mean to hurt people. He sometimes does not consider the amount of physiological differences between his family and humans in general could cause difficulties with his methods; they work with his robotic family and they look human, so … Was Zoidburg evil or just did not consider the differences between his species and humans? Maybe Zoidburg was just incompetent.
Actually, no one in that room would be harmed by the download attempt. Julie just disconnects the clips from her hair, the emerald guardians and Von Fogg erect force fields when her gets close.
His friends and family stop him? He only ever asks nicely, and people politely refuse? Or as David said, he could just be not paying attention.
Probably a combination of all those things.
Because jumper cables fix broken cars and villains make doomsday devices that kill people. And if jumper cables can fix a broken car think how much good they can do to a broken brain!
Um, she’s talking about Moon Shadow, not Ron. Moon Shadow only went to Argos because Julie asked him to come with her. She only went to Argos because Dax-Ra asked the US Government to send her as an ambassador. Ron only went to Argos because Dax-Ra told Atlas that the only was to remove Ron from stasis was on Argos. (And given all the other lies he’s told Atlas, I think its a pretty good bet that Dax-Ra could have ordered Forak to release Ron, but wanted a means to blackmail Atlas.)
So explain to me again how its Praetorian Academy’s fault that Moon Shadow and Ron are stuck on Argos?
There’s plenty of blame to go around but she’ll claim an unhealthy amount me thinks. But don’t forget to blame her teachers for not insisting he be pulled out, or Revenant for his encouragement or his parents for birthing and then pressuring him…. All these focused his life path to that point to… So Julie don’t worry… Your just 1 of 84,000 factors including his own free will that put him on that planet. If you must, blame madam destiny.
moon shadow’s got it made. his future wife is gonna be a super strong blonde female with a heart. ain’t nobody deserves that sorta good luck more than him.
Let’s hear it for the 84/Moon Shadow shippers! (Hey, if Nightwing can almost marry Starfire, there’s no reason Moon Shadow can’t at least ask Julie to junior prom!)
Also, Julie isn’t some flying dumb blonde who’s indestructible, super-strong and super-fast! She’s clever, honest, caring, charismatic and (most important for her next story arc) inspirational!
Oh 84, don’t you worry, he’ll probably help bring down an evil regime and reconcile with Mo-Ron (love that name), so leaving him behind was probably the best thing to do.
After all, on a planet ruled by brawn, brain is required, not more brawn. This isn’t really her kind of fight.
No she is not dumb at all. She’s a clever girl, able to notice when things don’t make sense and how to solve problems. Which will come in handy next issue when she has to tutor the newest student at PS238 in how to be a superhero!
hmm, There is a royal on Argo that pledged his life on her safety. There are going to be a LOT of hard questions going to be asked cause she’s not there after a easy request.
I have a feeling that the “American Defender” position that Patriot Act and American Eagle are competing for will actually be won by 84. Naturally responsible, sensible, intelligent, caring, and, I suspect, a born leader. Although, with more or less current events, a black super would resonate more. Heh. I just noticed that there doesn’t appear to be any darker-skinned kids in PS238. Aliens, godlings, supernatural beings, fragments of Anthropomorphic Personifications, yes, but currently a lack of multi-ethnic diversity.
Their are, it’s just hard to tell in black-and-white. You can tell if you get the volumes, the covers are in color. Also if you get the role-playing game, you can read the kids full names, revealing their ethnicity. This is actually a pretty well-rounded comic, ethnically speaking.
Sorry how does being a “Naturally responsible, sensible, intelligent, caring, and … a born leader” connect well with America as a nation other than what it needs more of? (This is a slight against the totality of how the system is run not the parts such as most the fine folks that read this like you.)
I believe that is the point of the 2 politically themed characters… They have great potential and intention on the inside but the translation through the competition and ideological forces on the national level prevent that potential from being reached.
@Lurksalot: Alejandro Torres, aka The Flea is Hispanic-American. Angie and Satori are Asian American , and Marvin, one of the Rainmaker Kids, is African American. There are also other kids that don’t get much individual screen time, who are also minorities. Plus Dr. Newby, the school nurse, is African American as well.
/\ignore this.

there are two icecreams. one an icecream bar, one a set of 3 orbs, a red whte and brown, I assume is icecream. There is also what could be either a bowl of sugar or a vanilla scoop.
Download a copy of their experiences. From their brains. With jumper cables. I just got a sympathy headache.

– Hey! It’s for SCIENCE!

So explain why that maniac is a hero again, and not a villain like the Von Foggs?
He doesn’t mean to hurt people. Mental Nucleus is a parody of Reed Richards, who can sometimes be a little clueless when it comes to interpersonal relationships.
Because jumper cables fix broken cars and villains make doomsday devices that kill people. And if jumper cables can fix a broken car think how much good they can do to a broken brain!
Why are most superheroes not labeled villains?
Actually it would be the fault of the people who sent Mo-Ron.
Because Moonshadow was only there to save Ron. If Ron hadn’t gotten kidnapped, Moonshadow may have not been anywhere near the ship.

Hear hear! They will be the cutest couple~ X3
an as seen here she is a responsible person. very important, not as common as it should be
yeah but his wife will technically be the 84th ha

Spoiler sport!
shhh, no spoilers.
Never said she was, but she’s not particularly cunning is what I was saying.
Her responsibility, yes. But not her fault. There is a difference between the two.
hmm, There is a royal on Argo that pledged his life on her safety. There are going to be a LOT of hard questions going to be asked cause she’s not there after a easy request.
What a wonderful child she is! ^^ There are nominal adults who lack that kind of responsibility and maturity.

school nurse can’t be class president
” Although, with more or less current events, a black super would resonate more”….so they should choose some glorified extra based on race?
on second thought: that….does actually sound like something an american would say.
