I know this really isn’t important. However, it’s been bothering me for a while. Is the head genuinely shaped like that, or is the helmet altering his appearance?
What I’ve always wondered about Zodon is, does he have any legs? He never leaves the hoverchair, so we have no idea. His hologram has legs, but that doesn’t count.
Also, if he truly never leaves the hoverchair, what does the chair do with his excrement? Beam it into a parallel universe?
I’ve come to the (fanon) opinion that Zodon is a quadriplegic. He cannot move his body below his neck, and the chair is a techno equivalent to a wheelchair. In that case, the life support equipment would have places to store excretions and so on, to be “serviced” on a regular schedule, in private. There is nothing so demeaning as being forced to empty your bag in a public place, and the comic is a public place. Fair is fair, we don’t see the other characters going to the loo. So for me he is a mental super, capable of controlling the chair with brain power alone.
And yeah, I’m a fan of Zodon. I wouldn’t dis his ability one bit.
My headcanon only differs in that I think Zodon is able to move his hands and fingers just a little, like Stephen Hawking.
I am, for what it’s worth, not a fan. I sympathize what he’s going through, but I feel like there are more productive ways that he could deal with it which would not just benefit the world more but also him more. I don’t know if they’d be able to get him out of having to go to elementary school. But by reducing how much friction he generates with others, he could spend less time dealing with them. At that point, the issue is avoiding the tutoring requests. I’d just respond to those with, “admit that I should be in a higher grade, get me into that grade, and sure. Otherwise, no.” Chances are very good that would get the “no” accepted, and if it worked the other way, it may be more time needed now, but fewer years of it, so still a win.

@Slimecat if you look at the banner at the top of the page, it’s not a helmet be a head band. he is bald so yes his head is shaped like that.
He was called “basketball-brain” by another classmate (or will be called? I forget if it’s before or after this part), so yup, it’s natural.

I always thought of him as a superintelligent toddler.
Not far off. He was 5 at the start of all this. After the time traveling, well, who knows.
