I suspect part of the plot is to get the earths greater variety of meta humans to get involved as both a wild card power dynamic and cannon fodder which removes some of the impurity at the same time.
And thus was launched the Argonian invasion… because she’s about to plant an aggressor’s flag on the soil of a sovereign government. And if the other race attacks, they’re unknowingly attacking OUR ambassador…
I was going to say “Anyone else think that this will go badly?”, but after reading the comments I think a better question would be “Does anyone actually think that this will NOT go horribly wrong for 84?”
I propose that it will end with 84 making contact with the Gauntlets and spontaneously forming a lasting peace through happenstance and misunderstandings.
That’s honestly as likely in this comic as any other result, really.
