    I thought the bat would cause more damage to the mech. Because they wouldn’t have tried to get rid of it by shooting it into the sun,if it wasn’t dangerous.

        He is an Egotistical megalomaniac. That in itself answers the questions besides he can’t keep congratulating himself for his minor deeds. That would just look silly. Having/forcing someone else to praise is what most egotistical megalomaniacs need. (why else do you think they monolog so much?)
