That’s true, but FDR started that relationship, and I imagine she idolizes him. (I can just see Jenny’s bedroom, with posters of FDR, Truman, JFK, LBJ, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama on her walls. Not Carter though; like most intelligent people she probably considers Jimmy Carter one of history’s greatest monsters.)
o_o This rates pretty close to ‘wear underwear on your hood and only green paint on your body and dribble when speaking’ on my personal insanity scale…
As far as I can tell
“The youngling with the (can’t read) on her uniform is almost identical to a typical Argosian. If it will allow us to read without further (can’t read), she would be acceptable to the Noble Houses.”
I think the full text is
โThe youngling with the 84 sigil on her uniform is nearly identical to a typical Argosian. If it will allow us to leave without further delay, she would be acceptable to the Noble Houses.โ
I concur, that’s what I could discern from the blurry text too. (I opened the comment page to type that same text.) I think those who have the printed books can more easily read it.
โThe youngling with the 84 sigil on her uniform is nearly identical to a typical Argosian. If it will allow us to leave without further delay*, she would be acceptable to the Noble Houses.โ
“The youngling with the sigil on her uniform is nearly identical to a typical Argosian. If it will allow us to leave without further delay, she would be acceptable to the noble houses.”
The whisper text, as requested: “The youngling with the 84 sigil on her uniform is nearly identical to a typical Argosian. If it will allow us to leave without further delay, she would be acceptable to the noble houses.”
Sending a child to a planet full of super powered nutjobs where they will all have the same powers as her and also where out either killing each other or trying to conqure planets. There is no way that this plan can go wrong.
(yes that includes the experince conqure the world because you have powers and the “they tried to kill me”)
You seem to have a lot more common sense than is legally allowed in order to work for the Department of MetaHuman affairs. Besides her parents signed a permission slip, and she’s going with Atlas, the world’s most honorable superhero! What more could you want?
84 is more than a little confused about all of this. Despite overcoming her insecurities about being a hero, Julie is still only nine years old. She’s a good student, about as bright as Ron or Tyler, but not quite as clever as Ambriel or Cecil, let alone Dillon or Jenny. (Zodon doesn’t count in this regard, as his advanced intellect is a superpower.) So it’s safe to say she’s about to be tossed into the deep end of the swimming pool that is intergalactic diplomacy. If only she could bring along a friend to help her out…
I read *everything* in a British accent. Can’t help it, as I am a Brit.
Now if I could bring only one ps238 pupil with me, I’d choose Murphy/Morpheus. Moonshadow’s been saving people a bit too often, poor lad needs some time off. And 84’s handy to have around but she has the same weakness as the Argosians, so anything they can’t handle, she can’t either.
Eagle does not look happy…
She’s a Democrat; the only totalitarian monarch’s she’s happy with are Gulf oil sheikhs. ๐
Last I checked, that’s an addiction that both major parties have a history of struggling with.

*on your head*
Hood was better. But only if its an old land yacht style car.
What does the small text say?
Kudos for putting real text in the whisper box.
can someone transcribe the whisper, I can’t quite make out all of the words in it, most of it, but certain parts are just slightly too fuzy
I want to read the whisper. It’s bugging me that I can’t read it.
As far as I can tell
“The youngling with the (can’t read) on her uniform is almost identical to a typical Argosian. If it will allow us to read without further (can’t read), she would be acceptable to the Noble Houses.”
that’s leave not read, obviously

*I’m not sure of this word.

What’s the chance that the ‘and stuff’ she’s thinking about is a teddy bear?

Um, Moonshadow tagging along. But then, who knows what would happen if he went along.
Alright, so i was wrong.

Agreed. And maybe a second plastic-like friend traveling as luggage.
I vote Moonshadow and the rest of Julie’s class pop for an unexpected visit!
That has got to be the best hall pass ever written.
ahh you read ahead….. how else did you know that Moonshadow goes along for the ride.
I’ll just say it for all of you.
SPOILERS!!!
If you read that in a British accent, you are awesome.
I actually read it as, “Spoilers, sweety” with a saucy british accent.
You rock.

Yeah, but why Murphy? As far as I know, he can only do that “dream thing” to one person at a time. He is,” but a fraction of his former self.”
