Development? Zodon?
No, he’s acting purely rationally and in his own best interests. Any evidence of any altruistic behaviour or more complex motives is mere misdirection and coincidence!
(Seriously, I know what you mean)

That’s the beauty of rational self-interest carried to the extreme. When you start to extend your planning to account for long-term impact, good and altruistic behaviors become sensible and rational.
Friends are, after all, invaluable.
Honestly, I think a large part of our consciences and our emotional bonds to others are an aspect of our incredibly powerful intuition engines coming to the conclusion that rational analysis takes a long chain of reasoning to achieve.

Well lets see… Zodon had managed to do well before. The Vegas adventure had him gain a bit of money, (but alas it was forced to be spent on toys) and 84 with Flea did a good job. Guardian Angel did pretty well with the alternate crises as Zodon grew a bit as we saw some different team ups.
Personally I hope for 84, Zodon, Guardian Angel, and of course Flea forming a team. The “Vetinari super package” added in for plot.
Other than that I another Moon Shadow adventure would be nice to see afterwards.

Someone should tell him that. It would probably make him feel better.
He is bragging with being in an exclusive team.
He did have to relearn his powers recently.
In turn 84 became a galeon figure of the FISS community. And saved a Universe.
He has to even the score just a little bit. And of course he is a bit childish about it being a child.
Not really any “kinda” about it. He specifically asks if anyone’s interested in joining his team, then says nobody else can join when 84 expresses interest.
Well, we were all young once. Probably.
He’s being a child. Which, since he is one, is only appropriate. I wouldn’t hold it against him too much unless this brand of undesirable childish behavior becomes his standard MO.
Kids are actually remarkably personally inconsistent, veering from selfish prickery to shocking kind-heartedness with great rapidity. They’re learning who they are and seeking validation by a number of experimental means.

Hopefully they will eventually grow up and stop having traits of liberals.

Yeah, I know. It’s still being mean though, it’s just more understandable when someone’s a kid.
I’m not entirely sure 84 was expressing personal interest. She could just as easily have been about to say “but I’d have to ask X if X is really interested.”
Typical grade 2 politics, especially when the boys start realize that girls are confusing and do things a little differently. So the easiest way to deal with that is to isolate them from what you want to do. That will teach them. Like that has ever actually worked.
So he asks “Notice anything different about me?”. Exactly who power set does he think she has that she could tell by looking that he has joined a hero group? He doesn’t even have badge or anything.
This is a bit off topic but just how much time do you think has passed since Ron woke up from his nightmare.
Originally I figured everything before Vegas happened in one school year, with Night school happening at the coldest time of the year since that and the time Tyler went to Angie’s space station was the only time he ever wore a Jacket.
But lately I’ve been going through old volumes and when I was rereading the issue Time after Tyler (Issue 12) and it mentions that Zordon first attempts to time travel a year after this moment. Zordon also says something like that latter in the issue.
Zordon is almost finished with his time traveling device at the end of issue 19. So that means a year or so passed in seven issues? Just how long has PS238 been open?
don’t try to apply a concept like ‘time’ to comic books, it will just leave your brain hurting. Everything that has happened happened “now” and everything that will happen in the future will happen “now”. Just ask tvtropes: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ComicBookTime
Now taking bets that those two political wing-dings (seriously, does anyone bother to remember their names, they’re so horrible) have each started up a team… =.=

I hope Guardian Angel and Zodon end up on 84’s team.

That… could work out really well. ^^ Although G.A. is getting a bit wild of late, I like the development Zodon’s been undergoing.

He’s fairly clearly based on Guy Gardner, so that kinda comes with the territory :P.

And I thought high school cliques were bad.
Can you imagine what these kids’ll be like when they get to the hormone explosion that is middle school?

The Gorram Batguy
Now, now. I’d say that anybody could notice the change in his demeanor. Why, he’s positively glowing!
Blackcat Moebius
I half expected 84 to say, “What, you’re in color now? We all are.”
=Tamar
In a way, he is “glowing a different shade of green”…jealousy.

Just realized:
If it’s only Kevin and the founding trio, does that make them the Fav Four?
