Oh, he’s enjoying it all right. But he’s also worried that he’ll begin to enjoy ‘fighting and outwitting heroes’, which seeing as his parents are heroes would be stressful for a kid.
He’s dealing with someone who caused him a ton of misery, someone who values superpowers more than him and demonstrated it by being willing to sell his life for superpowers, also the red head did something. He is probably going to hurt or at least embarrass them a little. Part of him will enjoy this. I think he does not want to want to hurt them too much though because you know revenge is not a good thing to focus your life on.
??? I don’t understand your confusion. They’re plainly STILL standing on the light fixture in the first two panels. Since they’re talking about staying shrunk at the time, it’s obviously a REALLY LARGE light fixture.
They are very clearly standing on the light fixture in the first two panels, The light fixture is very high up and since Tyler’s Parents have ego problems of course they made it huge. No missing page, they unshrunk themselves and are now standing on a light fixture the size of a smart car. Perfectly normal.
I have a feeling Moonshadow is going to continue to enjoy this. Just a hunch. (Okay, a binge-read, which means it’s fresh in my mind that he’s still in this business in fifteen years.) I hope I’m not going too against the format here, but commenting on years worth of pages seems worse, so… I love this comic. Absolutely love it.
I agree. He seemed quite upbeat when we saw him as an adult in the future. Maybe it’s just the nostalgia of remembering him talking to himself and finally getting around to it, but it does seem like he’s happily in the vigilante detective business by then.
I agree. First panel, they still seem to be on the light fixture. I think, MAYBE, the line should have been; “I think we should have stayed in the air ducts.”
Don’t forget Flea. The Potential Hijinx Quotient (PHQ) of any situation is automatically squared whenever Flea is involved at a minimum, and the exponent increases in proportion to how many bugs are in the general area.
Could be, I didn’t catch her up there at first. But yeah, if that is 84 I can’t imagine her not flying to Moon Shadow on sight and offering her assistance, and the two of them are easily among the most capable kids in this setting so the adults chasing him might be in for an unpleasant surprise or three, especially with Flea and Ron still off who knows where.
Uh oh. He’s starting to enjoy it…
If he is, I’m happy that he is. 🙂
He doesn’t look like he’s enjoying it, but I agree, I hope he is. He deserves to enjoy the age-inappropriate competence he regularly demonstrates.

Man, he needs to get a solid win against Charles. Get that villain thwarting satisfaction
I’m currently of the opinion that is his actual superpower

Is the implication that they unshrunk between the pages? Because they sure seemed to be shrunk and in a light fixture in the previous one.
Could be a missing page.
Or it’s a REALLY BIG Light fixture…
Can the shrink gun also make things bigger? Was it caught when they shot themselves?
Yeah there’s an area of effect when you hit someone with it anything there holding your carrying gets it too
Considering the apparent size of the room, it has to be HUGE to be any use in lighting it properly…
the previous page did say it was a chandelier

They’re not clearly still in anything. And a large light fixture doesn’t make sense. It would just block the actual lights.
Umm… if it’s a light fixture, the light would be coming from the bottom of it, so it wouldn’t be blocking anything.

Wow. The size of this room must be insane. Tyler & Cecil are currently shrunken (presumably). And yet the people chasing them still look smaller.
They explicitly state they were restored to normal size in panel one. The rest is perspective.
Huh. Missed that. I thought they were hiding in a chandelier or a light fixture. Thanks for pointing that out.
Still must be a large room (foyer?). There are quite a number of adult sized bodies flying around. But not as big as I previously thought.
They were hiding on a light fixture.
It’s not like these people have ego issues or anything…
The Revenant line made me laugh quite a bit.
Tyler, Toby, Moon Shadow, Zodon, Captain Clarinet… is anyone else running around?
This could get comically messy.
Don’t forget Flea. The Potential Hijinx Quotient (PHQ) of any situation is automatically squared whenever Flea is involved at a minimum, and the exponent increases in proportion to how many bugs are in the general area.
How many bugs can he bring before they need their own invite? I’m guessing they might end up walking around with Tyler’s tracking bracelet soon.
look! up in the right corner! it’s 84!
If that is 84, then pursuing Moon Shadow might get expensive for some folks.

The guy with a cape who can see souls and can compromise Moonshadow can be just as effective against Dyna-Sarah-Mode.
