Now that My Hero Academia is around, and the truth behind Endeavour’s family has come out, I can see some remarkable similarities. That said, I don’t want to say whether the Powers’ active neglect and unpersoning of Tyler is better or worse than Endeavour’s rivalry-gone-rancid next-generational abuse.
I’m firmly convinced that My Hero Academia was written by someone who read PS238 and said, “Imma do this, but with enough anime tropes to get corporate backing/advertising.”
In fact, I’ve been dropping this on MHA fans because they tend to like it.
