Ok. This doesn’t make any sense. Yes, we’ve seen this before; it’s the time travel plot. But Miss Kyle DOES NOT KNOW THAT. Only Tyler, Angie & Prospero are aware of the time-traveling and Zodon’s attempts. So why is Miss Kyle shoving one of her students at that monster? She doesn’t know Zodon’s going to blink out, and bluntly, neither would Tyler, since Tyler isn’t with Zodon for the whole thing.
Zodon also yelled at Ms Kyle early in the previous issue – when Ms Kyle first tries to get Tyler, Cecil, and Zodon out of trouble, Zodon starts yelling about how the two of them owe him an apology before getting interrupted by the alien.
I’m not sure, I think he’s only been thawed out for about a week, but, yeah, he’s had plenty of time off-camera to give her grief about this. Also, since Herschel thawed him out from a block of rather profane polar ice, it’s not a secret to the teachers that he’d gotten in there because he tried mucking around in the timeline.
But the adults were not there. They didn’t show up until AFTER Cecil shrunk the alien and had it in the jar. They saw the alarms go off, but Zodon was gone well before they got outside, and according to Hersch, only Dr Positron saw the security cams go nuts. So Ms Kyle didn’t hear or see Zodon that first time, and when he yelled at her in the parking lot early in this issue, he didn’t explain anything then. Miss Kyle really had no reason to push Zodon at the monster.
However, Miss Kyle saw the shrunk monster in the olive jar, she knows time travel exists, and she knows what Zodon is like. Honestly, I don’t think it’s too big a leap.

Knowing Zodon, he’s probably been giving her crap for weeks about it.

He showed up in the schoolyard, before blinking out, leaving a monster for Cecil to shrink.
