C’mon, as panel 4 (inset) shows, even Ron doesn’t have the “protection of the Royal Houses”, and he’s Atlas’ son! Okay, Ron’s in danger precisely because he’s Atlas’ son. But still.
Well My guess is Gauntlet powers activate! We have the other group taken by aliens appear… Other wise she better grow up fast and deal with an army of other super powerful people that will want to kill her.
Maybe Ron could, but that doesn’t change the scumminess of using children to expand the empire.
That third panel is a few scales coming off Atlas’ eye, too bad he doesn’t have more cautious buddy to keep an eye out when he’s jumping without looking.
I distinctly remember hearing, feeling and tasting that sound once when I accidentally touched 480 volts AC. Tasted like I had been gnawing on a tin can. Hurt too.
Been zapped more than once. More of a sharp crack than anything with a ‘Z’ in it. Mind you, my experiences have only been with 120 V and 208V, not 480 V.
Gee, whatever happened to “She will have the protection of our royal house, so our lives would be pledged to her safety”?
Wait, you actually believed that line? Bwahahaha!
Bwahahahahahaha! No, seriously, you believed Dax-Ra? Bwahahahahahaha!

Oh wait, you were serious. Let me laugh harder! BWAHAHAHAHA!
Oh, politics. You so silly.
That’s the problem with print – a sarcastic tone of voice just doesn’t come through. I’ll try to remember the tags next time.

He does have a habit of blasting first, getting hurt second and thinking third, doesn’t he?
No rough housing! Kevin you just earned detention when you get back to Earth!
Duh-duh-DUUUUUUUUUUUHHH!!!!!!
This is what I ment by foreshadowing. Done brilliantly.
Humans can get through the tunnel. That means Moonshadow can. Can Ron? He’s half-human.
Maybe Ron could, but that doesn’t change the scumminess of using children to expand the empire.

BZOWNT ?
I want to see the comic writers thesaurus, and rip this page out. Not even the original TV Batman would use that one.

Electric shocks can actually sound like this… if you’re the one being electrocuted, anyhow. Which I wouldn’t recommend.

Ahhhhhhh… The Internet. Where people can come together with stories about how they electrocuted them selfs.
Clearly inspired by the sound made by Buck Godot’s blaster: http://www.airshipentertainment.com/buckcomic.php?date=20070111
Aaron uses lots of fun action noise stand ins.
It looks like my capture the flag games in Halo.
You’re lacking a link to “Use Sword on Monster” in the header of this comic.
Atlas hasn’t appeared in the comic much, but I’m guessing from his face in panel 3 that somebody’s day is about to get utterly wrecked.
