At best he just gained one thousand pontential killers who want to kill him. At worst its most of the planet who wants to kill him. He forgot three main points. 1st no one trusts a smooth talker or someone promising peace when they can take control of everything you own. 2nd they are an entire planet of highly advance techonolgy and genticly modified people with (limited or selected) super powers. 3rd they have huge egos and are very violent and are a condensending race who belive everyone else (inculding some of their own) are nothing and should be conqured.
I’ve actually met people like that. They they usually don’t have the right knowledge, or authority to know the difference between an enemy, ally, friend or rival. They’re like butterflies, as such, they cannot take any form of benign criticism, much less the kind that would violate their ego because the weight of it would crush them like a deck of cards.
In a way, it’s ironic. They create their own inescapable trauma.

Other words people who would be geniuses, except that being so powerful and knowing it turns them into fools.

I meant house of cards and drama, but I figure it’s close enough for you to get the idea.
