Hmm… I’m starting to wonder if this Praetorian academy isn’t more benevolent than everyone makes it out to be. It could be it’s just more strict, kind of like a boarding school.
@Rock:
We have, of course, seen some fairly extensive bullying going on at PS238. Have we really seen examples of it at the Praetorian Academy? Frankly, they seem more controlled than that.
Enforced enrollment of Charles probably falls under the guise of juvenile detention. Something like that would be needed, right? If so, the founders would be surprised at Ron’s volunteering.

He didn’t volunteer, he got fast-talked into it and his mother brainwashed/mind-controlled into saying it was a good idea and pretty much abandoning him, thus deepening his issues and facilitating further mind-games.

Charles wasn’t the only forced enrollment. The tried it with all the rainmaker kids. Try tried it with Zoron. Try tried it with the Flea (at first)…

Were they after the kids, or were they after Harold? Power negation is a pretty great ability, after all.

School… Where you should first learn that ‘being part of a team’ sometimes just means you’re part of a gang of bullies.

Hmm, is this the first appearance of something NOT F.I.S.S. in Ron’s powerset?
